Robert A. Corley, Sr.

Savannah- Robert Allen Corley, Sr., 70, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 after a long illness at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mr. Corley was born in Newton County, Georgia to the late Mr. William Herbert and Mrs. Ruth Allen Corley. He was an avid duplicate bridge player and belonged to several local bridge clubs. He was also the previous proprietor of Alken Moving and Storage, where he managed his company for thirty years.

He is survived by his Wife, Trudy Corley of Savannah; Son, Robert Allen Corley, Jr. Lesley of Savannah; Daughter, Ann Kathryn Corley Williams Slate of Savannah; Grandchildren: Joshua Allen Corley, Sydney Elizabeth and Justin Thomas Williams of Savannah; Brother, William H. Corley, III Robyn of Starrsville, GA; Sisters: Kathryn Davis Michael of Covington, GA, Faye Berry Bill of Gainesville, GA, and Cindy Schell of Starrsville, GA, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
